On Timezones: The timezone offset is the number of hours away from GMT your current location is. If the number is a single digit, it is prefixed with 0. The number is then multiplied by 100, in military fashion. This number must be prefixed by a + or -. For a complete list of timezones, visit this Wikipedia article. Remember, a timezone of +6, for example, would be entered as +0600. The United States timezones range from -0500 (Eastern Standard Time) to -0800 (Pacific Standard Time).
